Tau Kappa Epsilon – Mu Lambda Chapter has been busy this fall scholastic semester with volunteering. Collectively members had over 411 service hours towards the community.

The brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon – Mu Lambda Chapter have been hard at work this summer and fall helping their local communities and the Houghton community. Brothers have helped some of their favorite charities and organizations, this includes local robotics teams, make a difference day, copper country humane society, and little brothers friends of the elderly wood cutting.

Wood cutting has been a philanthropy tradition for the brothers for the last ten years. The little brothers friends of the elderly firewood program helps keep the homes of our elderly warm all winter long. The brothers love helping out and getting some exercise during this bonding experience and friendly competition. During the volunteering members cut, split, and stack firewood for more volunteers to transport to the local elderly that may not be able to cut the wood themselves and/or financially afford it.
