St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Founded by Frater Danny Thomas (Gamma-Nu, Toledo), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital works every day to fulfill Danny’s dream that “no child should die in the dawn of life.” No family every receives a bill from St. Jude and Tekes across the world have made great strides to support the cause.

More than 30 years ago, Tau Kappa Epsilon joined the fight against childhood cancer when Danny Thomas asked his fraternity to help him with his cause. TKE has had two previous commitments to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — $1 million in five years towards the naming of an MRI suite and $2.6 million towards the naming of the proton therapy synchrotron/particle accelerator. TKE Nation hit both of these commitments early. TKE is now taking their support to an all-new level, committing to raise $10 million dollars in 10 years to name the Bone Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Research Floor.
