Board of Advisors – ΜΛ Scholarship Fund
In partnership with the TKE Foundation a nonprofit tax deductible charity, the Board of Advisors is proud to support programs and services that build Better Men for a Better World. Each year the the Board of Advisors grant more that $1,000 in scholarships and awards in support of the development of our young Fraters. Every gift – regardless of size – allows the Foundation to support the ΜΛ Tekes of today and tomorrow.
The TKE Foundation Charity was originally founded to support the highest demand the Fraternity places on its collegiate members – scholastic achievement & personal development. In partnership with the TKE Foundation the Board of Advisors grant chapter scholarships each year for the most improved scholastic member and top TEKE.
When donating to the TKE Foundation your contributions remain unrestricted in nature.

A. Whether you choose to give to the Foundation unrestricted or choose to restrict a gift to a specific grant or scholarship, all checks are to be written to the TKE – Mu Lambda Chapter Scholarship Fund. The Foundation manages gifts for each separate fund and distributes your donation accordingly.

Yes. The TKE Foundation is a 501©(3) charitable organization, which means that all gifts to the Foundation are tax-exempt to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The entity in control of these funds is the TKE Foundation, if your donation is earmarked towards – “TKE Mu Lambda Chapter Scholarship Fund” the Board of Advisors is in control of distributing the funds to active members of the chapter for Education Excellence and Top TKE Awards.

Giving securities that have increased in value is a great way to both benefit TKE and bypass the capital gains tax due on a sale. A gift of stock is valued for tax purposes on the date of transfer. The fair market value of gifts of long-term, capital gain securities or real estate is deductible up to 30% of a donor’s adjusted gross income.
