Board of Control – Legacy Fund
With the Mu Lambda Chapter past its 50th birthday, we have celebrated with the establishment of the Mu Lambda Legacy Fund. This fund will provide a solid foundation for our chapter to be around for the next 50 years, and stand as testament to our brotherhood for future generations.
Our objective is to solicit annual contributions from alumni fraters for the establishment of a fund that would be used to maintain and improve the home of our Mu Lambda Chapter. A continuous stream of funds would help to ensure a pleasant, clean, and safe environment for our fraternity that we all could be proud of. This fund would in no way be used to support ongoing operations of the house or fraternity, and would be managed exclusively by the Board of Control entity that owns and operates the property that is 1304 College Ave.
The Treasurer of the Board of Control will accept contributions, and maintain an accessible ledger of the fund. The Board of Control will assess needs for distribution of the fund. Only after a formal vote is taken, recorded into the meeting minutes, and proper signatories have acted will the funds be allocated. If any frater has a suggestion, or comment on the use of the fund, they are welcome to contact any member of the BOC.
The goal is to achieve a 50% participation rate of alumni fraters with an average annual contribution of $100. In subsequent years, the goal will be to increase the total contributions, and the level of participation. With over 600+ alumni fraters, we are confident that we can achieve, and exceed the goal stated above.
