As you know, 1304 College Avenue is more than just a place for fraters to sleep or eat – it’s a space where we built lifelong friendships, shared countless memories, and formed the foundation for our futures.

The Teke house has been an enduring symbol of our fraternity’s 55 year presence at Michigan Tech.  The unique architecture and charm reflect well on the character and personality of the fraternity.  However, as with any structure that stands the test of time wear and tear can take a toll.  One of the most critical areas needing attention is the electrical system.

Over the years, parts and pieces of have been replaced, however, a complete overhaul of the electrical system has never been undertaken.  The house electrical system simply doesn’t have the capacity, circuits, and outlets for the growing power needs of the active members of the Fraternity. To ensure the house stands the test of time and to maintain a living space that aligns with the standards of the community, we must make significant, long-term improvements to our electrical infrastructure.

We are asking for your help in raising the necessary funds to complete an upgrade to the house’s electrical service. After consulting with experienced professionals, we’ve developed a comprehensive plan to provide.

As alumni, we understand the importance of giving back to the fraternity that helped shape our lives.  The chapter house continues to serve as the backbone of our fraternity.  By investing in this critical upgrade, you are ensuring that future generations of fraters will be able to live, grow, and thrive in a safe and well-equipped environment, just as we did.  This is our opportunity to contribute to the fraternity in a meaningful way, ensuring that the Teke House continues to be a place for fostering Charity, Love, and Esteem for years to come.

Our Fraternity needs your help for the future. All donations will have a direct and lasting impact on the future of our chapter. Here is how you can support this project!
